Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian Sausage
- 2 C uncooked penne pasta
- 8 oz cream cheese cubed
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 C chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 C Parmesan cheese grated
- 1/4 C mozzarella cheese grated
- 1/4 C ricotta cheese
- 1 Tbsp fresh basil chopped

Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the Italian sausage, cook through, drain any grease, then set aside.
- While the sausage is cooking, bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to package directions, drain then set aside.
- In a medium pot over medium heat, melt the cream cheese, tomato sauce, tomato paste and chicken broth together.
- Add the oregano, parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, kosher salt and red pepper flakes, stir everything together.
- Add the parmesan, mozzarella and ricotta cheese, continue stirring until all of the cheese has melted into the sauce.
- Add the cooked sausage and penne pasta to the cheesy tomato sauce and stir to combine.
- Serve immediately topped with fresh basil.
